Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading a high-performing team in developing, implementing, and managing GuideStone's overall marketing automation and website content strategies. This position is charged with collaborating on initiatives across GuideStone, with an emphasis on web, mobile, customer experience, user experience, email marketing, marketing automation and analytics.
This position will oversee the daily execution of web content updates and email marketing. It is the responsibility of this position to possess knowledge of digital trends, proactively respond to website and email performance, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide strategic direction for all team members.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Operations and will work closely with marketing, the Program Management team, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver digital experiences that achieve desired business outcomes.
What You'll Do
Marketing Automation and Web Content:
Lead the day-to-day management of web content, marketing automation, email marketing, and analytics while focusing on lead generation, retention and overall customer experience.
Provide leadership and guidance to web and marketing automation team members to ensure best practices, budget management and targets are being met.
Partner with the CMS product owner and the program management team to assist in defining website vision and attend development agile meetings as Marketing's representative.
Digital Marketing Strategy: Understand the full digital marketing mix and be able to communicate technical aspects of a campaign in an easily digestible manner.
Collaborate with technical and creative teams, as well as with various business leaders, to define requirements and execute digital marketing strategies.
Manage and strategize marketing automation platforms including creation, updating, onboarding new features and ongoing administration and ownership.
Keep a strong pulse on web, marketing automation, email & financial service industry trends and innovation through competitive marketplace analysis.
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption, where appropriate.
Analytics: Measure and report performance against ROIs and KPIs.
Measure and report on email and website performance to track, analyze and improve our digital products and campaigns.
Act as liaison to Data teams and assist the Marketing Analyst in accomplishing related reporting goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities and/or Relationships Responsible for full scope of supervision including reviewing performance of assigned staff, development of staff, etc.
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for Marketing Automation and Web Strategists.
Manage relationships and work closely with agency partners, consultants and contractors, as necessary.
Builds relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of organization.
Leads project planning and execution.
What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in marketing or MIS, preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role.
Travel approximately 5%.
Strong and proven track record/performance in managing complex projects.
Proven ability to align processes, people and technology to accomplish the highest goal of the business.
Experience leading and developing teammates to create a dynamic team.
Exposure to Sitecore and ClickDimensions preferred, or other comparable technologies.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Exposure to Google Analytics.
Ability to learn software applications and technical information quickly.
Highly self-motivated.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make quick decisions with minimal oversight.
Adapts well to change and works well under pressure.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions and time constraints.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and departments.

Strong verbal, written, and face to face communications skills.
Understanding of unique ministry and business environment.
Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.
Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
