About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Marketing within its Clinical Solutions group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that promote the group's comprehensive services in the US and EU. This role is pivotal in raising awareness, establishing industry leadership, and generating qualified leads for the business development team. The Executive Director will work closely with business leaders to conceptualize and amplify branding and marketing initiatives, manage an annual marketing plan, and ensure the delivery of campaigns at a steady cadence. Essential functions include collaborating on brand positioning, creating and managing marketing assets, and supervising the marketing mix to support the business's goals. Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in a strong marketing role, with at least 10 years in the CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a background in life sciences is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of marketing success, be a strategic thinker, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in managing and motivating teams, as well as a robust understanding of CRO services and the customers who buy those services, is also necessary. The role demands a results-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, set strategic plans, and drive execution, and who is adept at using KPIs to measure and report on marketing performance.
