Media Technology Specialist
The Media Technology Specialist is a role that straddles the management and execution of media technology needs at Connelly Partners, with the internal and external education of media technology partners, advancements, and products. The Media Technology Specialist will be responsible for the management of ad operations and trafficking, ad verification and QA/QC, custom audiences and media buying platform integration within the larger ad tech stack at Connelly Partners. While this role supports an integrated media team executing across multiple channels, the Media Technology Specialist is also deeply involved with our analytics team in order to oversee the integrity of media buying outputs and how that impacts overall client reporting.
Working closely with both the Platform, Integrated Media and Analytics teams, the chosen candidate will ensure effective delivery of digital media plans and drive the day-to-day execution of digital ad delivery through DCM to meet client expectations for a broad spectrum of advertiser accounts.
Core responsibilities:
- Campaign set-up and execution
- Building trafficking sheets in coordination with integrated planners, the platform team and analytics teams in order to execute on campaign implementation strategies
- Build campaigns through Doubleclick Campaign Manager
- Generate and test pixels and ad tags for campaign launches
- Implementing ad tags and creatives with vendors and DSP platforms
- Complete quality assurance and testing of creative assets to ensure proper functionality across browsers
- Develop and maintain campaign creative specs and ensure ad creative adheres to technical specifications and troubleshoot creative issues that affect implementation, tracking and/or reporting
- Communicate with vendors to ensure the proper set-up and deployment of campaigns
- Coordinate with platform, integrated and analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting, optimization and fulfillment of campaign delivery
- Identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase effectiveness and efficiencies
- Recommend, oversee and manage ad verification and integrity tools
- Work with cross-department team in continued development of proprietary agency trafficking and UTM standardization software and processes
- Opportunity to learn and provide support on integration of custom audience sources and unique, industry-specific attribution tools deployed through DCM in order to further support campaign attribution
- Stay up-to-date on the latest and greatest in the media technology space and provide relevant thought leadership and POVs to internal Connelly Partners and external client teams
- This position will also have significant input and guidance into agency QA/QC processes across managed service media, programmatic and paid social.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in digital media trafficking at a full service or media agency, or vendor side ad ops experience.
- Deep understanding of DoubleClick Campaign Manager - certification is highly desirable
- Quest for knowledge and desire to expand skill set in media technology space
- Experience with video and mobile ad tracking and ad tech protocols
- Comfort with Google Suite and ability to consolidate information and work with multiple data points.
- Knowledge of Viewability/Verification vendors, Google Analytics and 3rd party industry-specific tracking tools such as Adara Impact is ideal, but not required.
- Ideal candidate will also have familiarity and exposure to Facebook Business Manager and a variety of DSPs, including DV360 and Adelphic.
