Growing high end construction products manufacturer seeks a passionate b2b social media strategist who can create and curate engaging copy and image content for social media channels including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts for all their brands. Positive outlook and ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams

Strong organizational and project management skills, wants to take ownership and willing to take initiative self starter.

The Social Media Manager will play a key role in shaping our brand online presence and
fostering community engagement. They will leverage their success in B2B social media
management and be responsible for creating content, developing, and implementing our
organic and paid strategies and execution across social media platforms, with the goal of
expanding customer engagement, and driving brand awareness.
Strategy Development
 Create Social Media Plans – design strategies tailored to our goals and objectives such as
increasing awareness, driving traffic to the website, boosting sales.
 Platforms – identify most effective social media platforms for the target and message
(Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
 Content Calendar – plan content and schedules for consistent posting relevance
Content Creation
 Crafting Posts – write engaging captions and create visually appealing graphics, images
and videos.
 Campaigns – Develop and execute campaigns to promote products, services and events.
 Brand Voice – Understand our products and services to be able to ensure that our tone
and messaging are authentic, accurate and aligns with our brand values.
Community Management
 Engagement – Respond to comments, messages and mentions to build relationships
 Monitor Feedback – Address routine customer inquiries and complaints promptly to
maintain reputation and ladder up those that require response by leadership team.
 Grow Community – Foster sense of connection through content like polls and Q&A.
Analytics and Reporting
 Tracking Metrics – Monitor KPIs such as engagement, growth, reach, conversions, clicks
per platform.
 Reports – Provide performance updates as required by platform with recommendations
for continued success.
Advertising
 Paid Campaigns – Plan and execute paid social and digital media according to strategy.
 Budget Management – allocate and manage budgets appropriately.

Trends
 Industry Trends – Stay current on platform changes, trends and competitor activity.

 Viral Content – Leverage any trending topics or formats to enhance our reach
Collaboration
 Teamwork – work with marketing, design and sales to search for relevant topics and
content to produce a cohesive social presence and online execution
 Influencers – Search for and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to
amplify our reach
Reputation Management
 Crisis Handling – any issues that could result in backlash or controversary should be
immediately teed up to the Marketing Director for handling.
 Sentiment – Track any brand mentions and public perceptions to ensure positive
sentiment – this includes monitoring GOOGLE MY BUSINESS pages for the brand offices.
Key Tools:
 Creative Skills: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign
 Analytical Tools: Google Analytics, Metia Business Suite
 Content Scheduling – Buffer (preferred), or other similar experience
 Paid Platforms: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads,
 Amazon Seller (desired, not required)
 Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (desired, not required)
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, a related field, or equivalent work
experience.
 3-5 years of experience in B2B social media management for a brand or agency.
 Expert in managing and implementing content for social media platforms including
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, You-Tube, and Pinterest, etc.
 Experience creating engaging content and campaigns that drive success
 Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft
Office Suite, Canva and other creative development tools.
 Familiarity developing successful CRM communication campaigns including email.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Meticulous with a strong eye for accuracy and consistency.
 Cheerful outlook and ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
 Strong organizational and project management skills.
 Initiative-taking with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Additional Tasks:
 Build a working knowledge of our products and the company through collaboration with
Marketing, Design and Sales and Customer Service teams.
 Assist with creation, production and proofing of sales support materials, catalogs,
brochures, presentations, and related social media and website content as requested.
