Job DescriptionThe Manager - Digital Media will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of digital media campaigns while leading a team of media specialists. Reporting to the Director of Digital Media, this position is responsible for overseeing campaign execution across multiple channels, optimizing performance, and ensuring that the team meets both customer expectations and internal goals.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of digital media specialists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
- Set clear individual and team goals, providing ongoing feedback and support to help team members achieve their objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for development and implementing training or coaching programs as needed.
- Promote a collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Campaign Management & Execution
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of customers’ digital media campaigns across channels such as display, search, and social.
- Ensure that all campaigns are delivered on time and meet or exceed customer goals.
- Work closely with the creative, analytics, and customer teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall marketing goals and are effectively executed.
- Regularly monitor campaign performance, using data and analytics to make informed decisions and adjustments to maximize ROI.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with the Sales team on new customer calls, serving as the expert on all digital offerings.
- Collaborate with the Director of Digital Media to ensure that client strategies are effectively implemented and managed by the team.
- Act as a point of contact for clients when needed, providing updates on campaign progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Present campaign results and optimization recommendations to clients, ensuring they understand the impact of digital media efforts on their business objectives.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution, from initial planning through to final reporting.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign processes, tools, and workflows, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the team is using the latest best practices and tools.
- Encourage the team to experiment with new approaches and channels to drive better results for the customer.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team, with strong leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of digital media channels, platforms, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive data-informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Education and Experience
4-6 years of experience in digital media planning, buying, and campaign management.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Travel Requirements
Some travel may be required
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Manager, Digital Media will oversee a team of Media Specialists.
Expected Salary Range: $68,000 - $113,000
