External Communications Coordinator

The Gathering Spot, Atlanta, is looking to hire an External Communications Coordinator who will report to the Brand Manager.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading social media content strategy and execution for the following platforms
    • Instagram
    • Facebook
    • LinkedIn
    • TikTok
  • Managing and organizing content from different clubs and contractors.
  • Campaign Management: Measuring the success of campaigns
  • Best Practices: Keeping up with best practices, trends and industry standards for social media
  • Engaging with followers on social media and responding to inbound messages in a timely manner
  • Attending events at The Gathering Spot to capture content

Job Requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in social media management is preferred
  • Novice skills with an interest in learning more on Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple deadlines 
  • Attention to detail in order to produce timely, error-free work
  • Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required
  • Availability for weekend and evening work when necessary
  • Thrives in continuous improvement, face-paced environment
