As an Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing media investment strategies across all channels for large to mid-level clients. You will cultivate strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure financial goals are met and maximum value is extracted from every media dollar. Your strategic thinking and leadership will be essential in driving innovation and shaping the future of healthcare marketing.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to the development and execution of client investment strategies across all media channels.
- Lead and mentor a team of media professionals, fostering their growth and development.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key client contacts, including brand, COE, and procurement teams.
- Partner with activation teams to ensure investment strategies are implemented effectively across all channels (SEM, SEO, Social, Programmatic, Video, and emerging platforms).
- Audit client media execution for accuracy and alignment with benchmarks.
- Identify and pursue investment optimization opportunities aligned with client business goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Drive process improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
- 6-10 years of Media Planning or Buying/Activation experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
- Direct experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated categories.
- Extensive experience in channel strategy planning and buying/activation across all media channels.
- Proven ability to drive supplier negotiations and extract media value.
- Strong leadership, team management, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
