Social Driver is hiring a Social & Digital Media Strategist. This is a full-time, remote position.
In this role, you will lead the strategic vision and solution for clients, working closely with the project team equipped with graphic designers, media specialists, and account and project managers to ensure flawless execution.
The Social & Digital Media Strategist is a hands-on execution role that requires expert-level knowledge of social and digital media strategy. This role will oversee client-facing conversations including intake meetings, check-in calls, and presentations as well as coordinate with other teams and leadership at Social Driver. It also requires working outside normal business hours to support events as they unfold such as with conferences/events or breaking news.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for crafting digital solutions and campaigns that are personalized to our client’s unique goals, audiences, and brand requirements
- Provide expert social media knowledge on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other leading platforms
- Mentor social media specialists as needed
- Lead client meetings including client intake meetings, regular client check-ins, and presentations of results
- Ensure the highest level of quality and ensure that service level commitments are met
- Communicate the success of social media through analytics and metrics reports, including changes that need to be made to improve results
- Provide clients with training, ongoing coaching, and documentation to enable clients to successfully manage their own social media channels
- Provide channel and messaging recommendations to clients based on analytics and audience demographics
- Have a strong point-of-view on the future of social and digital media, thinking about how it applies to our clients
- Use social media tools including Salesforce Social Studio, Google Data Studio, TweetDeck, and Sprout Social (or like-platforms)
- Collaborate with the Creative and other agency teams to ensure content is informative and appealing to online audiences
- Support the implementation of defined social media strategies to increase web traffic, call to actions, awareness campaigns, relationship building, and more
You will report directly to our Senior Social & Digital Media Strategist.
Skills/Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in digital and social media marketing. Experience in the health care and public health industry is a plus
- Agency or client services experience
- Demonstrated experience using social media for advocacy and business goals
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media best practices (certification is a plus)
- Demonstrated experience with social media tools, social media analytics/measurements, and how to effectively communicate them to clients
- Demonstrated experience creating custom social media strategies that have achieved results
- A self-starter with the ambition to lead and mentor a team
- Excellent at multitasking
- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Ability to travel or work outside normal business hours, only as needed
