Position Summary:

The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) at Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Project Coordinator - Media and Innovation - Boca Raton, FL.

This Project Coordinator will work with a media production team of producers, designers and multimedia specialists to ensure the timely completion of projects. This role will report, track and review project progress as well as analyze data and overall project workflows and assignments. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Media and Innovation and work on both the Boca Raton and Davie campuses with travel to other campuses and offsite locations as needed. The ideal candidate has the ability to cope with change in a collaborative environment and will hold a deep understanding of project scope, needs and solutions.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:

+ Coordinate: You will interact with departmental partners to discuss ongoing and new media projects. This includes distributing new media projects and updating instructional designers, coordinators and directors on all media projects. You will also meet with external requestors for media assistance requests.

+ Project reporting: You will create reports, charts, and dashboards that accurately and consistently provide meaningful insight into project health, productivity, and internal media team performance across all COCE projects.

+ Data Analysis: You will provide context and understanding to the numbers you report and communicate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences. You will identify inefficiencies and suggest solutions.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or higher in Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Multimedia and Film Studies.

Two years of experience in a related creative field.

Wrike or other project management software

Strong Excel skills

Adobe Premiere Pro

Mediasite

Canvas

Familiarity with Windows and OSX hardware and software.

Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of standard video production and interactive object creation processes.

Salary:

$70,000 per year.
