We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through connection with the horse. Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to lead and manage public relations, social media, event promotion, and other marketing efforts to advance ROCK’s mission, vision, and values. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CEO, Development Director, and other team members, bringing creativity, commitment, and proactive energy to the role. Key Responsibilities Social Media Manage ROCK’s social media presence on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to build community and increase stakeholder engagement. Develop and schedule content in coordination with the Development Department and other departments' needs Monitor analytics to measure engagement and improve future efforts. Actively engage in social media conversations to foster community connection. Public Relations Develop and maintain media contacts within the local community (e.g., publications, radio, TV). Collaborate with the Development Team to gather and share impactful ROCK stories across various media. Issue press releases as needed and support ROCK tours for community outreach. Marketing Materials Maintain a master list of marketing materials; collaborate on design and development with ROCK's graphic designer. Project manage marketing publications, including brochures, annual reports, and event-related materials. Coordinate with the Volunteer Team to ensure materials are restocked and distributed effectively in the community. Oversee media production, including coordinating with vendors and producing short videos to highlight ROCK’s impact. Project Management Create and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar, ensuring timely content production and publication. Collaborate with team members and vendors for seamless project execution, including bulk mailings. Work with the Leadership Team to develop strategic plans and annual marketing goals. Analyze marketing performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize future efforts. Manage ROCK’s WordPress website, including content updates, event listings, and blog posts. Ensure brand consistency across all materials, collaborating with the ROCK Team and graphic designer. Direct Email Campaigns Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns. Qualifications Experience and Skills Minimum of 3 years in marketing, with nonprofit experience preferred. Demonstrated an urgent and proactive approach to completing tasks. Strong project management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and priorities. Creative and innovative mindset; skilled in storytelling and brand communication. Enthusiastic about ROCK’s mission, with excellent collaboration skills. Capable of effective communication with diverse audiences, including executive teams, families, and donors. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards and organizational consistency. Technical Skills Proficient in social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact. Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Proficiency in Canva preferred; WordPress and Salesforce experience are a plus. Microsoft Teams experience is a plus. Note: Completion of ROCK Volunteer Training is required.
