About The Role:
The Griffin Antique Mall is seeking a creative and motivated Media Production Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about media, storytelling, and content creation. As a Media Production Intern, you will have hands-on experience editing podcasts, YouTube videos, and long-form content, and you’ll learn the ins and outs of producing engaging audio and visual media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit Audio and Video Content: Assist in editing podcasts, YouTube videos, and other long-form content to ensure high quality and alignment with brand standards.
- Content Production: Collaborate in the production of a YouTube series, from pre-production planning to final edits, gaining valuable insights into video storytelling.
- Storytelling Support: Learn and apply storytelling techniques that engage audiences through both audio and visual formats.
- Content Optimization: Ensure all media content meets quality standards and is optimized for publication across digital platforms.
- Collaborative Projects: Work closely with our creative team to develop ideas for new media projects and provide input on ways to enhance the content's storytelling quality.
What You’ll Learn:
- Audio and Video Editing: Hands-on training in audio and video editing software, such as Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, or equivalent tools.
- Podcast Production: Step-by-step guidance on producing audio and video podcasts, from setup and recording to final publishing.
- YouTube Series Production: Techniques for creating, editing, and managing a successful YouTube series, with a focus on viewer engagement.
- Storytelling through Media: How to convey compelling narratives using both audio and video, with emphasis on enhancing storytelling skills.
- Digital Media Best Practices: Exposure to best practices in media production, audience engagement, and content optimization.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Interest in media production, storytelling, and digital content creation
- Basic knowledge of video and audio editing software is a plus (Adobe Premiere, Audition, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Eager to learn new skills and apply them to real-world projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit
