Job Title: Social Media Manager/ Salon Receptionist (hybrid position)
Location: Societe Salon
Job Type: Full time position ( working on social media and working the front desk)
About Us: Societe Salon is an upscale, family-friendly, and specialty salon dedicated to providing exceptional and luxury services for our clients. We are looking for a friendly and organized receptionist to join our team. We are also seeking a creative and result driven Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence and engage with our audience. Our social media plays a big part in our company and bringing in clients. Maintaining our social media will help continue to elevate our business.
Key Responsibilities: ( Front Desk Receptionist)
Greet clients warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and appointments
Schedule and confirm appointments using salon software
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized
Process payments and manage cash register transactions
Assist stylists and service providers with client needs
Promote salon services and products to clients
Maintain accurate records of client appointments and information
(Social Media Manager)
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement
Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, text) across various social media platforms
Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities
Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, managing budgets and targeting
Qualifications: (Front Desk Receptionist):
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using salon management software and basic computer skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
A friendly and professional demeanor
Social Media Manager:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of video editing is a plus
