Job Description
ARES is hiring a multimedia engineer to support United States Space Force 4K video capture, distribution, and storage requirements. This candidate will support multimedia video system requirements gathering, drafting, design, and implementation. Examples of multimedia system support may include signal processing components, audio and video networks, camera systems, lighting systems, and television production equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience designing, installing, and/or operating multimedia systems.
- Experience working with relevant technologies and equipment.
- Experience working with asset management systems such as Maximo.
- Experience drafting designs and creating block diagrams.
- Experience with relevant equipment such as PESA video systems.
- Experience developing and adhering to defined maintenance and sustainment schedules.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, communications or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
This position is located on-site at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
