Jacksonville Daily Record is the leading source of business news and information on the First Coast. We deliver timely and relevant content through various platforms – daily, weekly; online, mobile app, in print, by email and via social media.
Job Description:
We're looking for a self-starter, who is dynamic, fearless and focused on driving revenue in the Northeast Florida market.
That includes prospecting and hunting new business as well as growing advertising revenue with existing clients. We work with clients to develop creative and effective marketing campaigns and ultimately translate their goals into uniquely crafted, dynamic strategies.
It is important to be a great listener and clear communicator with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You must have a successful track record in outside sales, and a desire to win. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and has a strong desire to continue to learn and be a part of a successful, dynamic team.
This is an excellent position for an entrepreneurial salesperson in any industry who wants to join an inspiring, fun sales team at a well-respected company with the opportunity to grow into six-figure earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Create and present compelling proposals and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in outside consultative selling.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
