This role leads the music programming execution for our church. It will leverage the tools of Ableton and Planning Center to prepare our worship teams for the weekend, while using their gifts in teaching and musicianship to equip staff and volunteers throughout our campuses.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and distribute Ableton sessions for all campus for weekend services, youth services, and events
  • Edit and arrange tracks when needed
  • Assist with the creative process by contributing ideas for service elements during weekly planning meetings and then direct the execution of those elements during the weekend services or worship experiences
  • Give Ableton support to Worship Leaders and Music Directors across campuses
  • Manage tracks equipment across campuses (computers, tracks rigs, updates, etc)
  • Manage songs on Planning Center – add new songs, create/edit chord charts, add mp3s, add arrangements, organize resources
  • Work with Worship Leaders in developing campus worship volunteers
  • Oversee CCLI, Rehearsal mix, and Song select
  • Participate in youth retreats and special events as asked by Youth Worship Lead or Worship Lead
  • Play on the worship team on Sunday mornings
  • Assist in creative projects as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in related field or extensive ministry experience

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently while still capable of working well and collaborating within a team
  • Adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Profess a belief in Christ that is demonstrated by actively living out that faith

Environment:

  • Work is accomplished primarily indoors in a worship environment
  • Some travel may be required locally to other campuses
  • Frequent exposure to noise more than 84dB
  • Working extra hours should be expected at times throughout the year

Classification: Non-Exempt; Hourly

Status: 15 hours per week
