Music School - Program Director

This is an ideal position for an educator, administrator and/or corporate expat who would like to achieve their professional goals while fulfilling their passion for arts education, community building and business development.

Our Program Director will lead in Both our Pleasant Hill and New Walnut Creek Locations. The Village Program Director works directly with the Founder and Executive Director in reaching company goals. This can be a manager or Director role DOE

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure a premium, enjoyable experience for all students and families
• Source and onboard excellent music & arts instructors for our Music Schools and Camps
• Source and onboard additional administrative team members
• Serve as team lead in supporting Village teachers
• Lead student registration and retention strategies
• Lead special school events – Recitals, Rock Shows, Theatre Productions and Student Showcases
• Manage administrative team performance assuring optimal outcome and customer experience
• Uphold all company standards related to policies and procedures
• Lead program design and adoption for Village premium class content and program offerings
• Implement strategies for ongoing team celebration
• Develop communication strategies promoting company objectives to all Village stakeholders

Position Qualifications:

• Successful history of program building, staffing and staff management
• Infectious energy and a track record of successful community building
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Musical and/or performing arts experience is preferred
• Acute analytic, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to strategically prioritize action items for self and directs
• Good humored and approachable to students, parents, and faculty
• Proficient in CRM systems and/or customer journey architecture
• 2+ years' experience in music and/or arts administration
• 2+ years in education
