Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- BA in Music Technology (or related) or equivalent work experience
- Imparting excitement and enthusiasm into teaching Music Technology
- Demonstrating a sound knowledge of Music Technology in a wide range of levels
- Adapting to a variety of teaching situations, including working effectively in both the classroom and other teaching environments and an ability/willingness to teach in more than one area of the program curriculum
- Contributing to a climate of multicultural understanding and appreciation
- Communicating effectively in oral and written English in a classroom and with other professionals
- Working/interacting effectively with colleagues, staff, students, administrators and others of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Incorporating a variety of creative teaching methods to address different learning styles
- Relating and inspiring students, ranging from reaching out to those students in need of help to challenging the best students
- Handling difficult of sensitive situations using sound independent judgment within legal guidelines
