Job Title: Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Shift: Days with some evening hours; includes weekend and holiday rotations

Salary: $49,000 - $64,000 annually

Overview:

We are seeking a Board Certified Music Therapist to join our team. This full-time role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, to utilize music therapy as a tool for treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement music therapy interventions to meet the needs of individual patients based on clinical assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate music therapy into the overall treatment plans.
• Document therapy sessions, patient progress, and outcomes, adhering to professional and facility standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning discussions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to ensure best practices in music therapy.

Requirements:

• Must be a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).
• Experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and adults.
