ADJUNCT FACULTY - INSTRUCTOR OF CONDUCTING

The University of St. Thomas (UST), a private Catholic University committed to the liberal arts and the religious and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education, is located in Houston, Texas, near the vibrant central business district, Texas Medical Center, and museum district, is seeking someone detail-oriented and mission-aligned to join the music department as Adjunct Instructor of Conducting.

Responsibilities

Teach the 3-credit conducting course for 1 or 2 semesters per academic year.

• EDUCATION:
• Terminal degree in Music.
• Background/experience in conducting and in teaching.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
