Job Title: K-12 Music Teacher
Supervisor: Chief of Student and Community Advancement
Start Date: Anticipated Start 11/4/2024
Hours: Monday through Friday; LMS 8:15am-4:45pm, Upper School 8:45am-5:15pm
Description: THIS IS A LONG TERM SUB POSITION that is expected to start 11/4/2024 The Music Teacher will split their time between delivering music literacy instruction and supporting various student activities throughout the day. They are responsible for planning, organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to meet and exceed standards for the grade level/course.

Qualifications - Required
Education: Bachelor's degree
Hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Music (All Levels).
Meet all state and federal guidelines in order to be fully licensed and "Highly Qualified" according to NCLB.
Ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching established by the Boston Public Schools as outlined above.
Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.
