Company Description Hype and Vice is a women-founded company that is revolutionizing the licensed-apparel industry by providing cute, trendy, and officially licensed clothing that celebrates individuality and empowers women to express their fandom with pride. We started with 3 university licenses in 2016 and now have over 300 team licenses across the NCAA, NBA, and MLS leagues. Our products are now being sold in over 450 stores (and growing) nationwide. The Role We are looking for a skilled freelance photographer to join our team on an as-needed basis. This freelance role offers flexible hours that will vary depending on the season and project demand. The ideal candidate will be able to respond quickly to scheduling needs and work efficiently under tight deadlines. Responsibilities Product Photography : Take high-quality digital photographs of clothing items—including tops, bottoms, outerwear, accessories —for the company website. Product Styling & Image Editing : Stylize products and edit digital images to ensure adherence to established photo guidelines, aesthetic standards, and brand consistency. Post-Digital Retouching : Support the retouching process with advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for tasks such as skin retouching, product enhancement, and background adjustments. Workflow Management : Efficiently manage the photo process from shoot to final image delivery, ensuring high productivity and meeting deadlines. Software Assistance : Provide support with all Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and other software tools as needed. Qualifications Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Lightroom Classic and Adobe Suite. Studio Lighting & Equipment : Solid understanding of studio lighting techniques and product photography best practices, with the ability to set up and troubleshoot lighting setups effectively. Advanced Photoshop Skills : Expertise in using Adobe Photoshop for digital retouching, color correction, and working with layers to enhance and manipulate images. Digital Workflow Integration : Ability to integrate and optimize digital images for various applications, including website integration and e-commerce platforms. Organized & Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a consistent workflow and deliver high-quality images under tight deadlines. Time Management : Ability to reprioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Reliable Attendance : Ability to maintain consistent attendance and adhere to company policies and schedules. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of digital photography experience is preferred., Focus on fashion or product photography is a plus.
