As an Ophthalmic Photographer you will be responsible for documenting specific disease processes through photography and other imaging devices as requested by the ordering provider.Schedule: M-F 7:45am-9am, 8 1/2 hour with 1/2 hour lunchWhat you will be doingBring patients from waiting area into photography roomNavigate through an EHR system in order to verify and document information in the EMR system including uploading files and photos to the patients chartShoot accurate OCT's on both Zeiss and Heidelberg machinesTake fundus photos on Zeiss, Eidon, and Optos camerasInject and perform FA's and ICG's on multiple camera systemsPerform a visual field and color vision testsRecord patient information in Excel spreadsheetsTroubleshoot camera or machine issues and communicate with tech support as neededOther duties as assigned by managerWhat you knowRequiredHigh school diploma or GED equivalentExperience with Humphrey Visual Fields, OCT's, angiograms, and fundus photosAble to work in dim lightingStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of medical terminologyDesiredOphthalmic Technician experienceWhat you will receiveCompetitive wagesRobust benefit package including medical, dental, life and disability (short- and long-term) insuranceGenerous paid time off (PTO) programSeven (7) company paid holidays401(k) retirement plan with company matchAn organization focused on People, Passion, Purpose and ProgressInspirational cultureAbout Midwest Vision PartnersMidwest Vision Partners was founded in 2019 to build a premier eye care platform in partnership with Alpine Investors, a San Francisco-based private equity firm.
