General Qualifications
The Lone Star Lights Photographer must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in their faith. They must be fully in accord with Carolina Creek's mission statement, and statement of beliefs; committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the organization. They must be of strong moral character and integrity.
Position Objective
Capture the Joy of Christmas as families create memories in Santa's Cabin. Guide guests through the photo experience with a warm presence, strategic posing and provide high quality images for guests to print in house or take home digitally. You may also capture candid shots of the excitement and wonder the guests experience as they journey through the park. Lead with Joy, create a great experience and lead those around you one step closer to Jesus through the Magic of Christmas.

Pay
Pay is $75 per night with housing and meals provided
Dates:
Setup Days: November 11-21 (Monday - Saturday generally from 9am - 6pm)
Event: November 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30
December 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22 (generally from 4pm - 11pm)
Reset Days: January 2 - January 17 (Monday - Saturday generally from 9am - 6pm)
Commitments can be made for the entire season (setup, event, and strike) or certain weeks.

Physical Demands:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in all types of weather (hot, humid, cold, rainy, etc) conditions. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, and ability to lift/carry anywhere from 15 to over 60 lbs.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Capture holiday memories through photos with Santa
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to put customers at ease and help them pose for the best picture possible
- Walk the park and capture candid photos of guests enjoying the festivities
- Edit photos through Adobe Lightroom
- Attend all required staff meetings and events
- Actively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of Carolina Creek
- Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actions
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- 18 years of age or older required.
- Must have a current valid driver's license.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
Work Experience
- Must have experience working with DSLR Cameras and general editing workflows
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of the Adobe product suite
- Must be familiar with DSLRs, Canon experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work on a dynamic creative team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible in project loads and changing deadlines.
- Must be a team player, and willing to work in all types of weather.
- Must be flexible with an ability to adjust and problem solve in challenging situations.
