What You'll Be Doing: In this role, you'll be integral to the success and sustainability of client accounts, guiding high-level strategy and leading team leads to deliver exceptional results. Your key responsibilities will include: Account Management: Oversee all account activities, ensuring alignment with client goals and providing strategic guidance across all initiatives. Account Oversight: Manage and direct account execution, ensuring work is strategic, timely, and professional. Initiate and implement innovative programs and concepts, maintaining a strategic overview to align all activities with broader objectives. Oversee budgets and resources to ensure efficiency. Campaign Planning & Strategy: Lead the creation and presentation of strategic plans and proposals. Guide brainstorm sessions, finalize strategic components, and monitor campaign progress to ensure alignment with client goals. Crisis Communication: Develop and manage crisis communication strategies, offering counsel during crises and handling communication with stakeholders. Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts to boost client exposure. Continuously identify and engage new media opportunities. Reporting & Analytics: Oversee the production of client reports, guiding the team in presenting results effectively. Analyze data to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements. Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering strategic advice and ensuring strong, effective client relationships. Manage client scopes and ensure all contractual obligations are met. Agency Leadership: Collaborate with agency leadership to enhance culture, work quality, and processes. Mentor and develop team members, optimize performance, and contribute to overall agency growth. Recruit, train, and guide staff to support their career goals. Agency Representation: Represent the agency at industry events, establishing thought leadership and promoting the agency’s reputation. Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest ethical standards in PR practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Business Development: Lead efforts to secure new business, including researching target accounts, pursuing new leads, and crafting proposals. Manage client intake and maintain a robust industry network to support client retention and growth. Requirements: You may be a great fit if you have: A BA in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Extensive experience in strategic planning and presentation, with a proven ability to sell in and influence client strategies. Expertise in budget oversight, media landscape navigation, and lifestyle marketing across various segments. A strong grasp of social media content strategy, community management, and PR execution. A history of successful people management and team leadership within a fast-paced PR environment. Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. A minimum of 10 years of PR experience, with at least 6 years in an agency setting and 5 years in managing team performance. A deep connection to culture and lifestyle segments, with current relationships in media outlets such as Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, and Rolling Stone.
