As a PR Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind crafting and executing strategic PR and influencer marketing strategies that make our clients the talk of the town. You’ll lead by example, guiding a dynamic team of PR pros to think outside the atmosphere and deliver results that don’t just meet expectations—they shatter them. Your role is to ensure that every client campaign is a home run, every team member grows under your mentorship, and every new opportunity is seized with creativity and precision.


Responsibilities:


Media Relations Mastery:

  • Lead the creation and innovation of PR plans that resonate across all media platforms and drive client success.
  • Provide strategic insights on campaigns that speak directly to consumer needs and solve client challenges.
  • Utilize your strong media relationships at local, regional, and national levels to keep clients in the spotlight.
  • Develop and polish PR materials—pitches, press releases, talking points, and more—that capture attention.
  • Maintain a network of close-knit freelance media contacts that can be tapped into for any campaign.


Strategic Thinking & Planning:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the agency and it's clients are always leading, never following.
  • Bring a futuristic mindset to the table, pushing boundaries and introducing innovative ideas that drive results.
  • Champion integrated campaigns that seamlessly blend PR, influencer marketing, and social media, delivering measurable business impact.


Departmental Oversight & Leadership:

  • Play a pivotal role in growing PR division, from hiring top talent to exploring new business ventures.
  • Lead with vision and determination, solving problems, inspiring creativity, and removing barriers for your team and clients.
  • Manage budgets with an eye for detail, ensuring all activities contribute to the agency’s overall success.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of integrated PR campaigns, guiding your team to meet KPIs and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Conduct status reviews and team meetings


Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the new business team to create and pitch strategic PR campaigns that win clients.
  • Actively seek and close new business opportunities
  • Stay informed about clients’ industries, using your knowledge to identify upsell opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Consistently deliver fresh, creative ideas that keep clients coming back for more.


Administrative Excellence:

  • Stay on top of team hours and client budgets, making adjustments as needed to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure that client KPIs are met and tracked


Requirements:

  • 5-7 years in public relations, with a preference for a strong media relations background.
  • 3+ years of agency experience is a plus.
  • Proven leadership in managing and developing a high-performing team.
  • 5+ years of experience in relationship building and strategic PR, marketing, or communications.
  • Deep understanding of the current media landscape and earned media strategies, with established media relationships at the local, regional, and national levels.
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
