SEO/SEM Specialist


We are seeking a skilled and analytical SEO/SEM Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing search engine optimization (SEO) and paid marketing activities, including SEO content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. The role also involves managing SEM campaigns on Google and LinkedInto maximize ROI.


Job Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development: Along with the Content Manager, develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase website visibility, drive traffic, and improve search rankings.
  • SEM Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns across various search engines, including keyword bid management, ad copy creation, and performance tracking.
  • Keyword Research: Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth and optimize existing content.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, landing pages, and product descriptions to align with targeted keywords and improve overall SEO performance.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content that meets business objectives and user needs.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute a link-building strategy to improve the website's domain authority and search engine ranking.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) to monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance, website traffic, and user behavior.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing to evaluate and optimize ad copy, landing pages, and other campaign elements to improve conversion rates.
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, development, and design teams to ensure SEO and SEM strategies are integrated into overall marketing efforts.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on SEO/SEM performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO and SEM, preferably in a digital marketing agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and use management tools such as Asana.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz), and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: SEO/SEM certifications from reputable organizations (e.g., Google Analytics Certified, Google Ads Certified)
  • Advanced Tools: Experience with advanced SEO tools and software, including SEMRush, automation and reporting tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
