Full Job DescriptionOur client is the digital marketing team of a global name in tech seeking an SEO Manager. This is a 12-month, 40 hours/week assignment with likely extension that will be onsite 4 days/week (Mon-Thurs, nonnegotiable) in the northern NJ office (commutable by bus). Excel - using formulas and manipulating/aggregating data:The SEO Manager will:- Manage day-to-day SEO communications roadmap and execution across all product categories- Keyword research and managing a pillar cluster strategy- Create and review blog article briefs and content to ensure optimum SEO optimization- Writing SEO-optimized metadata and QAing metadata provided by agencies- Submitting and managing Jira tickets to completion- Coordinate inputs from marketing team and HQ and prioritize within division's existing roadmap- QA and provide clear feedback on content and technical optimizations to drive effective improvements in ranking - Provide analysis on effectiveness of tactics and activations- Understand key product reason to buy and features between models- Partner with agency and internal digital/website team- Manage agency outputs for SEO including ensuring content aligns to brief, is measurable and actioned in a timely manner- Partner with Digital team members to understand workstreams for the main website, social, PR and paid media to ensure cohesive messaging and best landing experiences for email communications- Document initiative requirements and clearly communicate stakeholder feedback to agency partners- Share key activity updates and explore new ideas to find process efficiencies and offer forward-thinking solutions- Understand competitive environment; proactively seek market knowledge through exposure to competitive retail landscapeThe SEO Manager must have:- 4 years of experience managing SEO and executing SEO tasks within a Digital Marketing team- Experience using SEO systems to analyze results, specifically SEM rush - Fundamental understanding of SEO functionality to drive optimal results- Strong skills in strategy, planning, marketing and project management- Proficiency of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint)Bonus: - Skills using BrightEdge and Adobe Analytics- Experience in eCommerce- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence, Monday.com, or other PM/ticketing toolsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
