job summary:
We are hiring an experienced SEO Analyst to join our team and create an effective SEO strategy to optimize our content and boost organic traffic. This role will oversee all SEO activities, including link building, keyword research, crawling and indexing, and on-page SEO. You will also be responsible for providing mentorship and support to junior team members and ensuring the successful implementation of the best SEO practices that reliably drive qualified traffic to our website.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools.
- Collaborate with web developers and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and algorithm changes.
- Manage on-page and off-page optimization projects.
- Generate and present performance reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in SEO or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful SEO implementations.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
- Familiarity with website development and optimization.
- Experience in link-building strategies.
- Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz).
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred but not required.
- Experience with content management systems (Wordpress).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of mobile SEO.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Tools and Software: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz Pro, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Yoast SEO (for WordPress), Majestic SEO, Keyword Planner, DeepCrawl
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field of study is preferred (or equivalent years of related experience)
