This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in the following locations: Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Wisconsin, and Florida.
Your Mission: Ensure successful releases by building trust, framing engagements, and advancing our practices
- Win Engagements: Craft approaches in the sales process, eliciting insights, demonstrating expertise, cultivating relationships.
- Oversee Delivery: Provide oversight and direction for a portfolio of client engagements.
- Deliver Results: Provide end-to-end technical leadership and supervision for projects, navigating scope, risks, and 3rd parties to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline; also lead the delivery of technically-focused initial engagements such as code audits and POC phases.
- Manage Delivery: Ensure all projects in your practice/portfolio are appropriately resourced, performing successfully, and within profitability objectives.
- Increase Capacity: Identify and develop training opportunities to increase long-term improvements in delivery.
- Advance Capabilities: Lead training efforts for the discipline so that expertise advances with industry.
- Cultivate Camaraderie: Ensure that Core Values are living and breathing throughout our practice.
- Lead Teams: Ensure successful hiring/contracting, act as a mentor and escalation point for coaches/managers and an example of servant leadership.
Your Day-to-Day
- Key Activities: Solution roadmaps that ensure value delivered within budgets, validate technical dependencies, ensure successful infrastructure
- How a Current Praxenter Describes The Role: "I'm responsible for both the technical success of specific projects as well as elevating the engineering practice as a whole. The role is a combination of tech lead, manager, mentor, and architect. You will regularly meet with clients and prospective clients to gain an in-depth understanding of the problems that they are trying to solve, and you will translate what you learn into clear and actionable technical requirements that the team can work from. You will also be responsible for helping to build a solid engineering team, both by assisting with the hiring process and by contributing to the training and professional development of the existing team."
Your Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: demonstrable proficiency with all of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, administering databases/cloud/servers. You're an expert in Javascript and .NET programming languages.
- Practical Experience: 15+ years professional experience in relevant technology and projects, including framing initial engagements, proofs-of-concepts phases, code auditing, value engineering, system architecture, and software estimation, as well as technical leadership with DevOps and Cloud-Based deployment
- Sales Engineering: Experience acting in a solution sales capacity, building trust with prospective clients through insightful and curious collaboration
- Services Expertise: Experience delivering business outcomes for clients, managing profitable delivery, and overseeing end-to-end project management within the SDLC
- Management Expertise: Experience with leading all aspects of the team-member engagement, including hiring/contracting, interviewing, performance development, etc.
- Relevant Education: may include intensive programs, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a equivalent experience

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,376 to $185,887 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
