POSITION SUMMARY
EWA Warrior Services is seeking a Technical Writer who excels at transforming complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to our customers’ needs. In this critical role, you will document and communicate the intricacies of cutting-edge systems and procedures, ensuring accessibility for diverse audiences while collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple disciplines. By gaining invaluable insights into innovative technologies and methodologies, your contributions will directly support the success of mission-critical solutions through accurate, user-friendly documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Research, outline, write, and edit content while collaborating with various departments to understand project requirements.
- Gather information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, organize, and produce procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit content, and determine optimal solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
- Research, design, and maintain information architecture templates that comply with organizational and legal standards, ensuring seamless data migration.
- Create content in alternative media formats to maximize usability, maintaining a consistent voice across all documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in Scientific Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience, such as four or more years of effective technical writing, may substitute for a degree.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and clearly articulate complex subject matter.
- Demonstrated experience in creating documentation and procedure manuals tailored for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Scientific Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Communication, or other related field.
