Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Movie & TV Interviewer based in Los Angeles to join our team. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for movies across genres, excellent communication skills, and the ability to express nuanced opinions in a concise manner. NOTE: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with producing written content and conducting in person and video-based interviews.
Requirements
- Los Angeles-based and able to attend screenings and interviews multiple times per week.
- Proven experience as a writer and movie critic, interview, or similar role, with a portfolio of published articles (or equivalent).
- A passion for cinema and a deep love for movies across a wide range of genres.
- In-depth knowledge of film history, genres, and industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Journalism, or a related field.
- Active presence on social media platforms with a focus on film-related discussions.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for online content.
- Existing relationships with PR for screeners and interview access is a plus.
- Experience writing movie and TV related news content.

- A computer with a high-quality webcam and microphone for virtual interviews.
