UX Interns to join our Development Team! This is a PAID internship where you will
gain in-depth skills in our tech stack that will propel you towards success. You will make an impact by
contributing to our product teams to deliver high-quality software applications to our customers.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during the internship.
- Cooperative and enjoys helping others. We have a collaborative culture at HCSS where teamwork is essential.
- Detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker.
- Evaluate our web and mobile suite, identify UX/UI improvements or changes in HCSS products, and work on solutions for them.
- Research existing design patterns within our products to analyze and document standardizations.
- Contribute to design system discussions, our style guide, and UI assets library.
- Assist other UX Designers with various UX projects.
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Able to conduct research and analysis
- Manages time and prioritization effectively
- Clear verbal communicator with strong writing skills
- A foundational understanding of UX research and design principles
- Strong visual design skills
- Ability to identify UX and UI design issues as well as usability issues
- Carries the drive and initiative to seek answers and solutions within and outside the team
- without waiting to be prompted
- Studying design, human-computer interaction, psychology, digital communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in various visual design and prototyping tools, e.g., PhotoShop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.
- Strong presentation skills
- Portfolio of work showcasing understanding of effective user experiences as well as
- proficiency in UI and interaction design
- This internship is semester-based, and we will work around your school schedule. During the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.
- Training and mentoring will be provided, and you will receive regular feedback on your performance. There will be numerous opportunities to continuously grow your knowledge base.
