Job Location (Short): Atlanta, Georgia-USA | Houston, Texas-USA | Madison, Alabama-USA Workplace Type: Hybrid Business Unit: ALI Responsibilities Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a UX Designer . As a member of the UX Design team, the User Experience (UX) Designer is a passionate, positive, and collaborative problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with others to make incredibly complex things simple. You will: Create workflows, sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas. Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to customers. Coordinate with multi-regional development centers and scrum teams on design issues relating to user experience. You may also: Conduct research, analyze project requirements, conceptualize user experience designs, conduct user testing, and collaborate with product owners and business analysts about functional and customer needs. Share knowledge of user-centered design principles and consult with development teams to brainstorm innovative solutions. Education / Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction or other related design discipline. Minimum 1 year of UX work experience is required. A link to an online portfolio must be provided (on your resume) at time of profile submission. Experience working with Figma, Sketch, Adobe, or similar design tool(s). Strong tendency toward visual thinking, using techniques like sketching and interactive prototyping to communicate concepts. Ability to produce all specified deliverables required on the project, ranging from static wireframes through interactive prototypes, videos, icons, and mockups. Constant drive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, news, and developments. Strong background in UX design principles and information architecture. A self-starter, highly organized, expert generalist, design thinker, and design tinkerer. Good presentation, communication, consulting, public relations, and negotiation skills. Preferred Experience working with agile software development and globally distributed teams is a plus. Experience conducting usability testing and user research is a plus. Knowledge of HTML and CSS, with basic knowledge of responsive design is a plus, but not required.
