Senior Manager, User Experience Design, Project Starline
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in product design or UX
- 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams
- 3 years of work experience working with executive leaders
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of UX Designers
- Lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices
- Build relationships and operating rhythms with leaders inside and outside their core product team to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed
- Deliver a strategic UX outlook, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates to actualize that outlook over time
- Manage the team resource allocation, skill alignment, creative process, and accountability to deliver results
- Grow leaders and domain experts to own complex scopes of responsibility, while making connections and guiding cohesion
- Advocate for users, imparting day-to-day design leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the user-centric intersection between design, business, and engineering
Benefits
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.
