Job Description Tyto Athene is searching for a Video Production Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of the DAU Video Services support team to coordinate project elements, provide guidance to help solve technical challenges, lend knowledge and expertise in all areas of video production. Responsibilities: Set up and operate complex A/V systems including projection systems, recording and playback systems, multi-channel mixers/audio boards, DSPs, wireless microphone systems, lighting control systems, professional production switchers, production cameras, etc. Participate in, produce, or direct the creation and revision of video or multimedia programs Conduct non-linear editing of video or multimedia programs Prepare and maintain gear and equipment, to include regular maintenance of inventory and repairing equipment Planning and executing delivery of audiovisual products Interface with customers Knowledge and skills: Experience with non-linear editing systems and workflows including Final Cut, AVID, etc. Experience with Chroma keying Field and studio lighting techniques Staging and blocking techniques Script writing and editing practices Knowledge of networking and operation of multiple MAC and PC based systems Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operations of telecommunications systems Knowledge of video on demand and video streaming Ability to troubleshoot and test systems and equipment Self-starter capable of working without direct supervision Must be able to lift equipment Understanding of Section 508 of the Workforce Rehabilitation Act Education and work experience: AA in related technical field desired 3-5 years experience in technical video production Clearance Requirement: No About Tyto Athene Tyto is an IT services and solutions company that provides mission-focused digital transformation to enhance the client experience and enable them to achieve desired outcomes.
