We are looking for a full-time Video Teleconferencing Administrator (VTC) Administrator to join our DVS team in Sierra Vista, AZ. This position requires an active secret clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance. The work location will be Fort Huachuca, AZ position, and will support the RCC-C, which provides cutting-edge technology in an enterprise environment.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's VTC systems. The role involves ensuring the seamless operation of video conferencing infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support for VTC users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, assist, and set up video conferencing systems to meet organizational requirements.
- Administer and manage VTC servers, endpoints, and associated hardware.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide technical support to end-users for VTC-related inquiries and issues.
- Conduct user training sessions to enhance VTC system utilization and efficiency.
- Implement security measures to safeguard VTC systems and data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security policies.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system integrity.
- Develop and execute maintenance plans to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Maintain detailed documentation of VTC configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Create and update user manuals and training materials.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate VTC systems with other enterprise applications.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support of VTC equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a VTC System Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of VTC technologies, protocols, and standards.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to VTC systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide user training and support.
- HS + 4 years of technical experience in UC/VoIP, AA/AS +2, BA/BS.
- Current DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS.
- IAT II certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) required.
- CCNA R/S, CCNA Collaboration, or PCVE certification w/in 180 days of hire.
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
- Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
- Learns and memories routine tasks.
- Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
