We are seeking a Web Developer to join our team! You will develop and implement unique web-based applications.

80% is new development and 20% is maintenance


The Master Web Software Developer will provide Master-level execution of tasks including those in the Senior level description. Must have the ability to complete all tasks on time, independently, and adhering to best practices, while also assisting, instructing, and guiding teammates so as to elevate the performance of others and the team as a whole. Requires little to no guidance for successful completion of work. Exhibits leadership skills by setting the bar for work performance and output. Knowledge, skillset and experience are in the top-tier of workforce

Duties and responsibilities
Communicate schedule with milestones, which includes technical reviews and audits, quality assurance checks, estimated project completion times and customer acceptance testing.
Perform development work in a non-production development environment. A pre-release and/or staging environment that closely matches the production will be used to host applications for user testing and evaluation. The Contractor shall provide consulting services and technical support for the creation and maintenance of a development and staging environment.
Develop in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (JS), JS-based frameworks to include JQuery, Bootstrap, Angular/TypeScript and or React. Experience with object models to include JSON, CSOM and REST. Good to have skills or experience with Vue.js, Backbone.js, Ember, Knockout, Handlebars.js. Node.js and SharePoint.
Test code to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results with appropriate documentation of testing results.
Provide documentation that addresses what core functionality and/or capability is being provided in a particular version of a product that is being delivered. Release notes, manuals and or commenting of code will be provided for all custom development including new features, changes and or fixed bugs.
Provide end-user documentation to include how-to guides, training guides, and frequently asked questions (FAQs). Documentation shall be delivered in the form of portal wikis or other easily accessible platforms.
Provide assistance to the Government for the preparation of training materials to include delivering the user manual, demonstrating new product features, providing sample test data and preparing scripts to support training objectives.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications

BA in Computer Science or other technical area
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Must have high-level written and verbal communication skills
Azure Repos (DevOps) for Git / Team Foundation source control
Azure Boards (DevOps) for planning and tracking work. This could also be with Atlassian Tools such as JIRA and Bitbucket (same with the Azure Repos)
SharePoint experience is highly desired, but not necessarily required
SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web part model to create client side development solutions
Share Point Add-In model for creating applications deployable to the SharePoint app catalog.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than (NLT) January 4, 2022 or have an approved legal accommodation due to a disability (which would include medical conditions) or because of a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance.

This is about as close to the ground effort in defending our Nation as it gets without actually fighting in the trenches.

Work Environment

• 4 person team, smaller team, all within base, run pretty autonomously
• Very tight team - site lead, 2 knowledge sys specialist, and then the developer that they are currently hiring
\* Hybrid 50% remote, 50% onsite

This is a very high-tempo operation that requires that individuals can perform under pressure

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This would be on site supporting SOCCENT. More full stack but primarily front end

Personality:
• There is a lot of projects being executed at same time, so flexibility, ability to change priorities, self starting.
• Currently a mix - collaborative but depending on project they may break down in a specialized area.

We service the SOCCENT command and about 13 different other sites as well. This is a very high-tempo operation that requires that individuals can perform under pressure. Personality would be best if they worked in the DoD space for at least 5 years and who understands the DoD mission.
