Job Description- Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts
- Development of robust and user-friendly applications.
- Relational database development (MySQL).
- Routine maintenance of existing sites and applications.
- Problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
- Write well designed, testable, scalable and efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create website layout/user interface
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, SQL preferred.
- Candidates should have proven web programming experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
- Deep understanding and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
- Understanding and practical experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel.
- Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST) is needed.
- A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
- Strong grasp of security principles.
- Must have a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are a plus.
- Ability to communicate directly with peers and managers.
- Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of projects’ timelines and requirements.
Additional Information
- Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5:00pm), on-site
- Benefits: We offer a full benefits package
- Salary: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the annual salary for this position ranges from $65,000.00 to $70,000.00. Which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
