Expedia Group’s Partner Brand, Marketing Team is dedicated to developing and executing innovative and effective partner marketing strategies, campaigns, and web solutions to reach, engage, and nurture our partners and prospects. Within this organization, the Brand & Creative team is responsible for cementing Expedia Group THE world’s leading travel tech platform and setting the strategic approach and execution for partner marketing initiatives.
We are seeking a Web Production Artist, an enthusiastic person who can contribute their expertise to a team in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is detail oriented with strong communication and organization skills. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, the Web Production Artist will take approved creative and prepare web-ready assets, ensure smooth hand off to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Authors, and conduct quality assurance before web pages go live. They’ll use their eye for detail and technical skills to complete web production work, ensure consistent quality, maintain our DAM, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. This is a temporary 5-month assignment.
Responsibilities of the Web Production Artist:
- Translate approved creative concepts into web-ready digital assets
- Efficiently work on multiple projects with consistency and attention to detail
- Troubleshoot design and application issues
- Investigate, with developers and authors, any asset or page performance issues and collaborate on solutions
- Support digital asset lifecycle management including uploading, auditing, and sunsetting assets and metadata as needed
- Liaison with SEO specialists to optimize on-page content
- Be proactive in voicing workflow improvements that increase efficiency
- Champion process by maintaining and contributing to web guidelines and documentation
- Stay closely connected to and collaborate with cross-functional partners (Content Strategists/SEO specialists, Graphic Designers, UX Designers, AEM Authors, Developers, etc.)
Qualifications of the Web Production Artist:
- BS, BA, or BFA in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of proven experience generating pixel-perfect production assets that meet web and digital medium specifications.
- Knowledge of file format best practices
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and other web design software and project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet)
- Knowledge of web and Content Management System (CMS) processes
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Dynamic Media a plus
- Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) best practices
- Exemplary attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize among running projects
- Solution focused, collaborative approach to investigating asset performance with developers and authors
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing experience with digital content such as websites, social media, and email campaigns
- Familiarity with UI and UX principles
- Basic knowledge of HTML
