Job Description
Web Developer - Remote (Anywhere in EST or CST time zone)
Medlogix, a growing business service provider to the insurance industry, is looking for a sharp and talented web developer to join our team. This individual will become part of the successful and expanding team that builds Medlogix’s web sites and services. The web developer will support the web components of Medlogix’s industry leading insurance claim processing and medical services management software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Improve and expand the existing web sites and services.
- Develop new functionality through a full development lifecycle.
- Design user-friendly page and form layouts.
- Improve workflow reliability and efficiency for Medlogix clients.
- Enhance website performance and security.
Qualifications:
- Strong judgment and problem solving skills
- Ability to interface with technical and non-technical peers
- Experience or familiarity with web application programming languages such as C#, LINQ, HTML, SASS, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Json.
- Experience or familiarity with web application technologies and frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, or React.
- A basic understanding of database development concepts.
- A basic grasp of security principles and how they apply to web applications.
- Strong initiative and ability to achieve goals on time and with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn with willingness to be accountable for daily tasks and complex challenges
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
- Workflow and imaging knowledge helpful as our systems are based on a paperless inbox driven model
- Industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field preferred
- Must be a US citizen
