Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Full Stack Web Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience with a specialization in Vue.js, React, SharePoint, and design systems.

You have 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer and 8 years of overall professional technical experience.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their stability, scalability, and usability.

You will work closely with our product team and other developers to create world-class user interfaces and interactive web experiences to ensure the feasibility, successful completion and delivery of our projects.

The successful candidate will be both technically proficient and possess strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of front-end development frameworks and is comfortable working with back-end technologies.

The preferred candidate should have experience developing web applications in a defense or space-related industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers in the design and implementation of software applications for defense systems.
  • Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
  • Design and develop high-quality code for web applications, ensuring coding best practices and standards are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, project specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex front-end and back-end issues and optimize performance.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development to continuously enhance our capabilities and efficiency.


Qualifiers:

  • U.S. Citizen with an ACTIVE U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional front-end web development experience in the Defense or Aerospace industry.
  • Expert level experience in Vue.js, React, SharePoint, Design Systems
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, Node.js, Asp.net, Rest, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
  • Experience with back-end frameworks such as Django, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Solid understanding of database design and SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of Software Development methodologies and best practices and experience with agile development workflows. Experience using GitHub, Confluence, and Office365.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel if required with advance notice and approval.
