Materials may be print or Web-based, and cover events, products, services, and strategies. Candidate writes edits, and formats documents by appropriate AWM specifications, style, and branding.

Position Purpose:
The Writer develops written content for a variety of deliverables to communicate key messages about Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College. Materials may be print or Web-based, and cover events, products, services, and strategies. Candidate writes edits, and formats documents by appropriate AWM specifications, style, and branding.
Essential Duties:
- Work closely with internal departments to understand communication needs and assist with communication and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with internal departments and others as needed.
- Develop print and online deliverables that meet agreed-upon communications objectives and deadlines.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of AWM/Charis products, services, strategies, and operations and apply that knowledge in developing communications deliverables.
- Maintain high standards of writing and performance.
- Write from the source material.
- Interview subject matter experts.
- Identify opportunities for repurposing content for additional audiences or to add convenience for the consumption of the message by the target audience.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skilled in creating communications that take into account the different needs of target audiences.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Clear understanding and comprehension of the English language.
- Superior knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and mechanics.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, including grammar, usage, tone, and other stylistic features.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, in a variety of media, concurrently.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Writing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
- 2 -3 years of experience as a writer or editor.
- Experience with a variety of writing styles: technical, creative, and marketing.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
