Job Description Job Description TICKET WRITER - SPORTSBOOKPart-Time Job Description: Provides great guest service by answering questions and relaying information in a courteous and respectful manner. Must be willing and able to utilize sports book computer system to generate tickets for wagers and to verify and cash out any winning tickets. Accurately maintains cash bank and is responsible for balancing. Must be willing and able to explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and sports book procedures to guests. Adheres to company and departmental policy and procedures. Is accountable for accurate paperwork. Responsible for complying with MS Gaming Regulations and Title 31 policies. Maintains knowledge of property amenities. Qualifications: Must have cash handling skills. Must be 21 years of age and obtain a MS Gaming badge. Must have computer skills. Must have basic math skills. Previous casino experience. Sports enthusiast a plus. Must be willing and able to learn new system and all associated Sports Book operational requirements for the position. Must be flexible in scheduling. Must be dependable. Previous experience in race or sports book a plus.
