Raynor Garage Door Company is a family owned and operated company, established in 1948, based out of Northfield, IL. We specialize in the service and installation of residential and commercial garage doors and operators, gate operators, and access controls.
Raynor Door is seeking a high energy, detail oriented individual that will be responsible for handling phone and email based inquiries from customers. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be able to multi task, be proficient with computers, and work as part of a team. Prior service industry experience is preferred but not necessary.
Qualified Applicants will be expected to:
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Schedule appointments with customers
- Assign jobs to technicians based on skill level
- Dispatch Technicians to their proper job sites.
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness-communicate updates with customers
- Interpret warranty information and polices to customers
- Sell additional services by pointing out service specials or additional work needed
- Maintain an organized work space
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Pass a drug test
Job Requirements
- Strong Customer Service Skills - Previous phone or face to face customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a structured environment with a diverse workforce
- Demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer relations
- Must be results oriented and have the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience with Microsoft Great Plains: Dynamics or ACT! preferred but not required.
- High School diploma or GED required
Starting compensation is based on previous experience in the garage door industry or similar service industry. Benefits available to Customer Service Adviser's include:
