We are currently seeking a personable and knowledgeable Service Advisor/Writer to join our team and help ensure our customers receive the best possible service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to determine their automotive concerns and explain the necessary repairs and services.
  • Prepare detailed service estimates and provide clear explanations of work required.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow in the shop.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
  • Maintain customer records, including detailed notes on services performed and customer preferences.
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage appointments, update records, and process transactions.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs is required to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling, record-keeping, and processing transactions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a service advisor/writer role or in a customer service position within the automotive industry is preferred.
