Tessera Spring Co-op Program: Designed for students as an alternate academic study in their Bachelors or Masters Eligible students would be those attending schools with an established co-op program for academic credit.
Duration: January 13th - June (6 month program) or August (8 month program) || Monday - Friday, 35-40 hrs/week

The Spring Co-Op will contribute to the advancement of the T cell program through the development of cutting-edge gene editing technologies. We seek a motivated and enthusiastic student with strong multitasking abilities, comfortable in a collaborative team environment. This opportunity offers hands-on experience with T cells and exposure to our innovative gene writing technologies.

- Hands-on Experience:Co-op participants will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on innovative projects at the forefront of biotechnology.
- Coffee Chats with Leadership:Regular informal sessions will be arranged where students can engage in candid conversations with Tessera Therapeutics' leadership team. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to gain insights into leadership styles, career paths, and industry trends.
- Career Development Workshops: Throughout the program, participants will have access to a series of workshops focused on enhancing key professional skills such as drafting a resume and interviewing.
- Student Outings and Activities:To foster a sense of camaraderie and community among participants, Tessera Therapeutics will organize various outings and activities.

Position Responsibilities:
- Optimizing primary T cell culture conditions for non-viral delivery of Tessera gene writing platform technologies.
- Support studies to characterize CAR-T cell biology and function using multichannel flow cytometry and ELISA-based assays.
- Support in-vivo pharmacology operations as needed.
- Adhering to all laboratory safety requirements and procedures.
- Design and execute experiments with clear and thorough documentation.
- Present research findings to various audiences within the company.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Biomedical sciences, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline
- Proficiency in basic wet lab skills, including pipetting, PCR, aseptic technique; primary cell experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data analysis software like GraphPad Prism.
