Job Description

Title: Technical Writer (Hybrid Schedule Available)

Location: Mathews, LA

Position Level: Non-Executive

Job Type: Full Time

GENERAL FUNCTION:
A Technical Writer develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications in print or electronic media.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 2 years of technical writing experience.
Ability to review and comprehend Engineering drawings.
General knowledge of watercraft vessels and their installed components.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. degree in English or Technical Writing is preferred.
Experience with Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker, or MS Office software is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Hybrid schedule available, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work.
