Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
Prepare and analyze financial data to generate entries for general ledger and journal accounts.
Support the month-end closing process by ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Review and analyze financial records detailing assets, liabilities, and equity.
Prepare key financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and projections that outline the company's financial position.
Assist with invoicing and billing functions to ensure timely transactions.
Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge of GAAP
Construction industry experience preferred
Experience with Yardi is a plus
