will oversee crucial financial functions, from Fixed Asset accounting to Sales & Use Tax filings and monthly A/R metrics, making a tangible impact on the company's success.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
Manage and support the Accounting, A/P, and A/R teams, including performance management and staff development.
Oversee Sales & Use Tax filings and assist with monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
Handle Fixed Asset accounting, Lease Accounting, and ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Collaborate with the VP of Finance to review and update internal control policies and develop departmental goals.
What You Need to Succeed as the Accounting Manager:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
(CPA and/or MBA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience,
with at least
2 years in a supervisory role is preferred
Strong knowledge of General Accounting, A/P, and A/R processes
Proficiency in
Microsoft Dynamics GP
and
Sage Fixed Assets
is a plus
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skill
Working knowledge of Lease Accounting is a plus
