RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER
Design, implement, and manage robust network security solutions to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Utilize expertise in CrowdStrike or Palo Alto to deploy, configure, and optimize security tools and technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in a timely manner.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER
Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of SIEM, network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.
Hands-on experience with security solutions such as CrowdStrike or Palo Alto.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security) are a plus.
